Not true. When we love ourselves, change is so much easier.
Notice how you treat yourself in your head. If you find yourself thinking cruel thoughts, try curiosity instead of judgement.
Instead of "what's wrong with me. I'm so bad at this" you can choose to observe yourself with kindness and think, "I wonder why I'm acting/feeling this way. That's interesting." People's brains are fascinating. Let yourself be fascinated with your own.
