As I've done my own self-coaching recently, I've noticed that I really resist discomfort!
Especially physical discomfort is hard for me to let myself feel. I get grumpy when I'm tired, hungry, the kids are loud.
This thought helps me embrace discomfort and realize how it is useful.
I get to practice feeling discomfort a lot. And the more I allow myself to feel the negative emotions and sensations in my life, the deeper I'm able to feel the positive emotions and sensations too!
Feeling our feelings is a skill and I'm committed to keep practicing until I can get really good at it.
