UNLIKELY COMMUNITY FORMED BY ONE MAN DELIVERING TEDDY BEARS ON HIS HARLEY-DAVIDSON MOTORCYCLE, NOW A DOCUMENTARY FROM INVISIBLE MANSION PICTURES

A Soul-stirring Story of Compassion and Connection in the Face of Unfathomable Loss

Peachtree City, GA | March 26, 2025

Invisible Mansion Pictures, the production company behind the upcoming family drama, The Loved and Lost, is announcing the festival run of the new documentary film, RIDE IN PARADISE. The film chronicles the journey of Brad Behle, a Utah native, through personal loss and subsequently ten years of bitterness and anger. In the depths of his confusion, Brad discovers a new source of connection and healing when he delivers a stuffed animal to a woman five months after the death of her five-year-old son, Keaton Howard. This quick and simple exchange is the springboard for the film's story, and the next ten years of Brad's life.

The film was the vision of director Kent Thalman, who received a teddy bear from Brad all the way across the country in Peachtree City, GA, USA, eight months after the passing of his son, Seth. As the project developed, producer Anna Thalman stepped in as co-director, running several interviews, and working closely with her husband/creative partner, Kent Thalman, to craft an edit that captures both the intimacy and breadth of Brad's journey of delivering teddy bears on his Harley-Davidson, one at a time, over the course of ten years.

"The film was a practice in meditation," said director Kent Thalman. "We filmed looking for moments, more than for cool shots or great sound bites. We were aiming to receive, rather than to contrive." The filmmaker's belief was that the power of the film would be best derived by allowing it to unfold, rather than to force something that might not exist naturally. And it paid off. The film's conclusion was the best gift of all. "We couldn't have made up how this community of bear-recipients comes together by the end of the film," says Thalman. "We're just grateful to have been a part of it."
